Feelings are subjective. They are not the right way to determine truth. though the Mormon will say that his or her testimony comes from God since that’s who he is praying to, it does not mean that the testimony really is from God. If, hypothetically, the God of Mormonism is not the God of the Bible, and who with the Mormon be praying to?
Feelings are not the best way of determining truth. In the Garden of Eden, Eve used her feelings and not the word of God.
“When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate,” (Genesis 3:6)
So, with feelings over scripture, the Mormon is ready to believe Latter-day Saint doctrine….and what are those doctrines?
